Brooke Bond
Brooke Bond, a name synonymous with tea, was founded by Arthur Brooke
in 1869, starting as a tea shop in Manchester. The company expanded
rapidly, becoming a major force in the wholesale tea trade and
launching iconic brands like PG Tips and Red Label. Eventually,
Brooke Bond merged with Liebig in 1968, forming Brooke Bond
Liebig, which was later acquired by Unilever in 1984.
