This appears to be a vintage Philips tube radio, possibly a
Philips Saturn BD 653 A-S m odel from the 1950s. It features a
classic wooden case design with a prom inent tuning dial. The
radio uses vacuum tubes for operation.
It was m anufactured in W est Germ any. The m odel
includes an input jack for connecting an external
turntable or speaker.
