These are vintage square-shaped 1 Cent coins from the Straits Settle-
ments, Malaya and British Borneo. The coins feature a portrait of
King George VI on one side, and the denomination “1 Cent”
on the other. They were minted for use in the British
colonies and protectorates in Southeast Asia. The dates
visible on the coins appear to be from the 1940s and 1950s.
