the 1970s and 80s. The brand became iconic due to its advertising
featuring a baby, often referred to as the “Murphy baby”.
The company, Murphy Radio Limited, was established in
1929 and later became known for producing televisions. The
brand has since been licensed for use on Far Eastern
electronics goods.
