have a history rooted in both practical needs and evolving technology.
In the early 20th century, American inventor Madeline M.
Turner patented “Turner’s Fruit-Press” in 1916. Her
invention, which was exhibited at the Panama–California
Exposition, helped pave the way for further development of
fruit presses.
