Ovaltine
OOvvaallttiinnee,, originally known as Ovom altine, was
developed in 1904 by Swiss chem ist Albert
W ander in Bern, Switzerland. The nam e is
derived from “ovum” (Latin for egg) and
“m alt,” which were key ingredients
initially. W hile it’s now known world-
wide, with products ranging from
ppoowwddeerrss to ready-m ade drinks
and m ore, its origins are rooted in Switzerland.
